DoED: The FAFSA & Corrections

Led the redesign of the FAFSA and Corrections web experience and created a brand new mobile app experience for both. Ultimately increasing the overall completion rate of the FAFSA (4.6%, equaling 20M+ submissions), reducing corrections (2.3%), and increasing college correction accessibility to most users (75%).

DoED: Federal Student Loans Research

Co-created comprehensive "mindsets" backed by behavioral science principles for the Department of Education to better understand borrowers and loan servicers. This involved conducting over 250 interviews with borrowers, DoED employees, college advisors, and loan servicers, along with facilitating numerous leadership workshops and focus groups.

USCIS: Immigration CMS Platform 0-1

Led the MVP design of a CMS platform called “STACKS” used by employees of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by working with 3 other designers, a cross-functional client team, conducting over 30 user interviews, and a series of user testing. STACKS allows users to view immigration-related request forms, evidence, and other case content for American citizenship applicants.
